- Day 1 arrive Vancouver
- Upon arrival in Vancouver you will be transferred to your downtown hotel (included). The remainder of your day is at leisure to explore Vancouver on your own. Canada’s third-largest metropolitan centre, Vancouver is a busy port with a thriving multicultural ambiance. The city is located in a spectacular setting with the Coast Mountains across Burrard Inlet to the north, and the waters of the Strait of Georgia to the west. - Day 2 Vancouver & Capilano Suspension Bridge Tour
See the best of Vancouver. Historic Gastown and Chinatown, Canada Place and the place to shop - Robson Street. Visit 1000 acre Stanley Park with the Native Totem Poles and Granville Island Public Market. Cross the Lion’s Gate Bridge to visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park where you may also like to join the Treetops Adventure and / or Cliffwalk. - Day 3 Vancouver to Whistler
- Today take a transfer (included) from Vancouver to your overnight accommodation in Whistler. The rest of the day is at leisure. Enjoy Whistler’s spectacular beauty and quaint mountainside village appeal.
- Day 4 Whistler
Enjoy a day in the snowy wonderland of Whistler. Enjoy outdoor winter activities such as hiking and ice skating at your leisure. Also choose from one of the following activities:
Option 1 Snowmobile Tour (3 hours) Journey through the Callaghan Valley for an introduction to backcountry snowmobiling. Follow wide, winding trails leading to an open play area. Experience the perfect mix of easy riding and spectacular scenery – ideal for first time snowmobilers and families.
Option 2 dog sledding tour (2 ½ hours) Let your eager and powerful dog team lead you into the magnificent old growth forest of the Callaghan Valley. Stop for a warm up at a trapper’s cabin on Totem Pole Lake and learn about the history of the Canadian fur trappers. Join your professional musher in harnessing and staging the dogs, learn the commands and feel the thrill of driving your own team. Relax with your family as you ride a mellow mix of open and winding trails for an unforgettable winter journey.
- Day 5 Whistler
Another day to explore Whistler. Today you can choose from one of the following activities:
Option 1 Ziptrek Bear Tour (2 ½ hours) Exhilarating and exciting, Ziptrek’s legendary Bear Tour features five ziplines; a network of suspension bridges, boardwalks and forest trails; and showcases stunning views of Fitzsimmons Creek. Perfect for first time zippers and families.
Option 2 Snowshoe Tour – The Medicine Trail (2 ½ hours) Walk along an old trapper’s path through a forest full of mystery. Learn traditional teachings while you snowshoe and sample healing teas from plants that grow along The Medicine Trail. Travel into the ancient forest in the Callaghan Valley. Hear a brief history of the area’s traditional uses and ways of the past. Gaze upon giant cedar, fir and hemlock trees. Finish back at the caboose for a rejuvenating snack by the fire.
- Day 6 Whistler to Vancouver
- Transfer (included) back to Vancouver airport, where your winter adventure ends.
