Norway Walking & Hiking Holidays

Norway’s beautiful, untouched scenery comprising tranquil fjords and rugged mountains makes the perfect backdrop for both serious hikers and casual walkers alike.

Across the country there are countless hiking trails for all abilities and ages – pick up a map, instructions and simply follow the route. For those that would prefer someone else to take the lead on an escorted walking tour, a local guide is a real asset and will no doubt share a troll story or two along the way.

Southern Norway

In southern Norway hike to Pulpit Rock which rears 604m above Lysefjord for a head-spinning, stomach-swooping, pixel-popping vantage point over dramatic scenery. Or join a glacier hike and set foot on the very geological formation that has given rise to much of this dramatic fjord scenery.

Northern Norway

In northern Norway, 300km inside the Arctic Circle, are the Lyngen Alps, a pristine mountain range rising to 1833m – the perfect spot for hiking and easily accessible from the city of Tromso. Whether you'd like a self drive adventure, a fjord cruise or a scenic rail journey, we can create an itinerary that leaves plenty of time to explore this spectacular country on foot.
